I created this street art piece in the Lofoten archipelago, location is Hamnøy at Eliasson rorbuer.
Its to honor the largest dolphin of them all: the orca, also known as the killer whale.
The orca is depicted hunting in the archipelago of Lofoten, where it is especially known for hunting the “silver of the ocean” — the herring (Clupea harengus).
The herring migrates to Lofoten between February and April.
Did you know that the orca has the largest brain of all mammals, including Homo sapiens?
The intelligence of the orca is closely linked to the size and complexity of its brain.
This edition is produced without a limited run to make the work more accessible, while maintaining museum-grade print quality.
